How does one apply for funding?
We use an online grants portal that can be accessed through this link. First-time applicants must contact the Executive Director before submitting a funding request.

What type of grants do we make?
The Roblee Foundation funds program and operating requests with a preference for early, catalytic, upstream, and movement building approaches. For more information, please visit the page labeled “Funding Priorities.”

The Roblee Foundation currently funds in the City of St. Louis, St. Louis County, MO, St. Clair County, IL, and Miami-Dade, FL. Although grants may be made in other areas of special interest to the board, unsolicited proposals from outside the Foundation’s geographic focus areas will not be considered.

When will we hear whether our proposal will receive funding?
Grants for proposals submitted for the February deadline are typically awarded in late June or early July. Grants for proposals submitted for August deadline are typically awarded by December 31. The payee of the JF Roblee Foundation grants is Bank of America. The Roblee Foundation name will not appear on the check.
